Materials: Snudda lazy susan, stain, permanent marker, paint
Description: I started out with the shiny, birch Snudda lazy susan that was around $7 at Ikea. After sanding off the clear coat, I stained it a dark color using Ebony Minwax. This gave the item a rustic, multi-toned effect. I then used the silhouette of a tree and outlined it with a permanent marker. After filling in the remainder of the design and adding a little accent paint to personalize it more, I had a rustic lazy susan for under $9 out of pocket because we had many of the items used in this hack around the house! To me, the new lazy susan resembles something from pottery barn, but it was done on an Ikea budget.
See more of the rustic lazy susan.
