2 shelves out of 1 (when mounted in a corner)

Materials: FABIAN, saw, sander, screws

Description: Get 1 FABIAN shelf. Saw the shelf in half. Sand the cut edges to mimic the bevel on the other edges. Mount 1 end of the shelf on the wall using the provided hardware. Screw into the other end from inside the cabinets.

For the shelf that my toaster is on, I was able to mount the shelf a few inches away from the wall to accommodate the depth of the toaster. The toaster is lighter than it looks and the 3 screws on the cabinet side make it well sturdy enough.
