Iranian navy has test fired the long range Qader (Mighty in Farsi) anti-ship cruise missile during the Velayat-90 naval exercises near the Strait of Hormuz. The Qader mobile coastal defense anti-ship cruise missile has range of around 200 kilometers.
The Qader (Mighty) coastal anti-ship cruise missile is a land based mobile coastal defense anti-ship missile based on the Iranian Noor anti-ship cruise missile.
The Spokesman of the Iranian Navy, Commodore Mahmoud Mousavi has said that Qader missile, "built by Iranian experts", was "ultra-modern... with an integrated, ultra-precise radar whose range and intelligent anti-detection system have been improved over previous generations".
