TSD Kalashnikov Rifles

TSD Combat Systems produces the pinnacle of the Kalashnikov series. By integrating the best of both eastern design and western shooting methods, we bring you the most accurate and modern Kalashnikov without any loss of reliability. We do this by beginning with brand new unfired Saiga rifles that are cherry picked by our staff. You will not see any crooked barrels or canted sights, nor will you hear the typical builder excuses of why its an AK and its alright for it to not be excellent. Our rifles are in fact excellent or we do not sell them.

The buttstocks and pistol grips on these rifles are of US origin, and provides for both a solid cheekweld, and an adjustable length of pull. No longer is the AK shooter required to struggle with a substandard stock that is not condicive to marksmanship. By not being a slave to AK-fashion, we eliminate that problem and present you with a rifle that is both comfortable to shoot as well as being conducive to accuracy. 

There are various options to these stocks as well. We also set up the rifles from the beginning to use western optics by adding the TWS top rail. You will find the Aimpoints are as much at home on these as are any ACOG or other magnified optic. Make no mistake…regardless of how good a shot you are with iron sights, every front line military in the world is using some form of optics. We set the rifle up to use the best available.

The trigger on these is the Red Star Arms trigger. The trigger is carefully installed by our expert technicians to yield a short and light, yet totally safe trigger break. You have not seen a trigger like this on an AK before, and this one, along with other internal refinements, will allow for that careful press that is conducive to the marksmanship requirements of TSD.

We also include your choice of handguard. We broke from AK-fashion again by eliminating the short handguards seen on most AK rifles. Instead we opted for either the Ultimak series or the Midwest Industries series. We have found that a slightly longer handguard allows for a more flexible hand placement for the various field shooting positions, and thus use these on many of our rifles. As well, the existance of rails is benefircial for those who need to add mission essential gear to the rifles. Finally the barrels are given a careful match crown and an high end flash hider or muzzle break is added. The resulting rifle is an example of excellence, and the zenith of Kalashnikov development in America at this time.
