HSW for the China

Chinese Guangxi Liugong Machinery overflowed into the account Stalowa Wola Steelworks money for the purchase of separate parts of the business of civil construction machinery manufacturing.


In this way the Chinese company became the owner purchased the property, finalizing a preliminary agreement in January 2011 (see: The Chinese are buying the civilian part of the HSW ).

Privatisation activities in Huta began in early 2010, and the current owner, Liugong Machinery Poland, was elected under a public invitation to negotiations. Wojciech Dabrowski President of the Industrial Development Agency in the message expressed the hope that this is not the first and last in the Chinese capital investment in Poland.


Sale ends civil production restructuring program Stalowa Wola Steelworks, which will remain firm, producing goods for the armed forces.

Money raised from the transaction, Huta be spent on upgrading the production of special education. These are important financial measures. The Chinese in fact shed 150 million zł, plus the same amount shall be paid within the next 5 years, in subsequent installments. For comparison, the current income from the production of military and cooperative HSW exceed 300 million zł per year.
