Indonesia plans to purchase eight U.S. attack helicopters AH-64 "Apache", said the agency "Antara" referring to Deputy Defense Syavri Syamsoeddina. He said the Indonesian government sent a request to itself (the U.S. did not seek to Jakarta with a similar proposal).
Apparently, it is about finding options for the purchase of helicopters AH-64 at an acceptable cost of the Armed Forces of those countries which are in service with such machines.
In November last year, Indonesia's Ministry of Defense has negotiated with the Netherlands for the purchase of eight attack helicopters, AH-64D «Apache" worth 200 million dollars.
