German Demonstrator G5

Plant refurbishment FFG Flensburger Fahrzeugbau recently presented a new demonstrator armored transporter, called pre-G5. Chance, however, its production is small.

The manufacturer did not provide information about the degree of mine and ballistic protection. What is known is that the G5 has a spacious interior with a capacity of 14.5 m³. With its modular design, can be relatively quickly adapted to different missions. Representatives of the FFG declare that they can become a demonstrator model of the base for all kinds of varieties.

 

G5 is not the first proposal for a German armored vehicle repair facility. Previously announced FFG Waran transporter, which increased variety M113. The car is not met, however, the interest of clients.


G5 is a typical demonstrator, probably built with public funds for development works.
