Photos from the display of the IDF’s Artillery Corps and Air Force during the concluding event of the 2nd International Fire Conference at the Shivta Artillery School.
The 2nd International Fire Conference came to its conclusion on Thursday afternoon with a fire display of unprecedented scope at the IDF Artillery Corps’ central instruction base at Shivta.
The display, the likes of which has not been seen in the IDF in the recent period, included the fire of Tamuz missiles launched from a Hafiz launcher, as well as the launch of MLRS rockets, among other things.
The display further included the use of artillery weapons, in order to demonstrate the IDF’s increasingly growing strength with regards to precision fire from the ground and intercepting targets at longer ranges than previously known. Targets were also bombed from the air.
The fire display was observed with great interest by more than 100 representatives of foreign militaries, who arrived at Israel in the framework of the conference.
Lastly, another photo from the air.
The 2nd International Fire Conference was initiated by the Israeli Artillery Association, the IDF Artillery Corps and the Ground Forces, with the participation of the Israeli Air Force, the IDF C4I Directorate and the Directorate of Military Intelligence. The conference was organized by IsraelDefense.
