The system's future developments were displayed in the conference held this year by the Dutch Air Force.
Representatives from six air forces convened last month at Volkel air force Base in Holland for the 3rd annual RecceLite Users Conference.
Developed and produced by Rafael, RecceLite is a self-contained, self-cooled multi-sensor tactical reconnaissance system, consisting of an airborne pod based on the Litening pod, a ground exploitation station and a data link.
The participants included the Royal Netherlands Air Force, the German Air Force and the Italian Air Force, the Royal British Air Force, the Chilean Air force and Singapore’s Air Force, as well as representatives from the Israeli defense company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.
At the conference, users shared their experiences and feedback while discussing dynamic changes in their operational needs. Officials from Rafael presented on-going developments taking place to improve and upgrade the system.
RecceLite was chosen by numerous air forces around the world, including the Israeli Air Force as well as the air forces of Holland, Spain, India, Brazil and Colombia. The system was also used to meet various operational needs, including NATO campaigns in Libya and Afghanistan.
