FAB Defense launches new systems: models intended for Jericho guns, an advanced buttstock, a conceptual grip and a stock that includes a backup magazine.
Following the success of the KPOS system, which provides submachine-gun qualities to pistols, and in light of demand from police units, the Israeli weapons company FAB Defense has begun offering designated models for the Jericho guns, polymeric and metallic. The system is presently available for more than 23 different pistol types in the second generation, and two additional pistols in the first generation. Furthermore, additional models are still in development according to demand.
In addition, FAB Defense presented several new systems at the Shot Show exhibition in Las Vegas, which ended two days ago, including the MBA, a rear mono-pod buttstock add-on suited for survival and shock-absorbing stocks. It is intended to provide the shooter improved precision and aim capabilities, even at long ranges, in a platform that is as convenient and minimized as possible.
Its base is coated with rubber, providing stable support, even on smooth surfaces, allows for ‘quiet’ and rapid opening and includes a secure mechanism to prevent the possibility of unintentional activation. A new handle concept was also presented at the expo, including the PTK new grip, an ergonomic development based on 'point shooting’ technique, which is intended to provide users with comfortable and natural use over time, while providing increased precision and response time.
The company also revealed the GL-MAG, a new innovative buttstock which allows for carrying a backup built-in magazine within the stock, allowing for rapid magazine replacement. The system includes a backup low-profile magazine that holds 10 bullets, for maintaining mobility and optimal operation capabilities, and is suitable for use with any standard M4 magazine.
