Expedit bookshelf turned rustic TV cabinet/bookshelf

Materials: Large Expedit bookshelf, oil based primer, homemade chalkboard paint, sandpaper, plumbing pipe, old barn door, eye bolts

Description: Cut out one shelf from the IKEA Expedit bookshelf and removed 5 dividers. Painted with oil based primer - let dry for at least 24 hours. Mixed unsanded grout with paint - about 1 tablespoon per cup of paint. Painted several coats - decided I didn't like the color and painted it again ; )

Sanded it to distress it. Screwed plumbing pipe to the top so a barn door can slide back and forth. Attached barn door with eye bolts. Secured to wall with several brackets!
