Autumnal mini-chest

Materials: minichest "Moppe", paper napkins, colours, brushes, glue, acrylic transparent coat

Description: This is an old Ikea mini-chest called Moppe. I think they still have a similar product, even if with a different name. I decorated it using the decoupage technique with paper napkins.

First I smoothed the wood using sandpaper, then I painted the mini-chest using colours which matched with the napkins. After that I cut the pictures and stuck them on the sides and on the drawers shading their margins with a brush. Finally, when the pictures were completely dry, I protected my work with several coats of transparent acrylic paint.
