Last 48 of 72 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, the Eurofighter also rise in British Wharton. Talks about the details of the contract changes in 2007, which envisaged the creation of the assembly line in the recipient country.
The agreement of 2007 amounted to GBP 4.43 billion. Assumed direct delivery of 24 fighters from the UK, while another 48 were to be assembled in Saudi Arabia from imported components. The creation of a final production line in the recipient country also appealed 24-48 the opportunity to buy additional copies, which reported in 2008.
It assumes that the British aircraft also provide the other with its own plant in Wharton, and has already delivered the machine - in option 2 tranche, and so without the possibility of using the latest European weapons systems - will be upgraded to the latest production model. This involves a change in financial conditions to be determined ultimately probably in the middle of this year.
