International Military Exhibition IDEB 2012 - vs. BREN. SCAR

In the Slovak capital Bratislava Biennial International Exhibition of military equipment IDEB. Not otherwise is the case this year, when the exhibition IDEB 2012 held from 2 to 4 of May. Though IDEB 2012 can not compare in size with our IDET, but it was something to watch.

The weather on Friday did not favor too, so we are restricted only to the exhibition in Hall B of hidden Slovak Expo. Arrival at the exhibition entrance itself was no problem, we can not, however, the phlegmatic nerýpnout control for safety frames. Although we have a notebook and put down jackets outside the frame, but nobody had bothered to search. If they had a concealed gun or a bomb, no one would notice. But that's just a humorous sidelight.

 

The exhibition was located on the second floor of Building B, of course, occupied the largest area of exposure (approximately 25%) Slovak army. Other companies were definitely catching Czech Zbrojovka ,Tatra , EXCALIBUR ARMY , the Belgian FN Herstal , Slovak DEVELOPMENT Martin and others. Came into their own fans and the Czech Army, which brought to Bratislava hospital Pandur II , Iveco LMV with  Slovak-Czech gun EE workstation with and assault rifle CZ 805 BREN .

In our subjective opinion, the most popular booth enjoyed a Belgian company FN Hestral and the Czech arms. No wonder the Belgians exhibited its most modern rifles, submachine guns and machine guns - whether it was that or the popular futuristic FN2000 FN SCAR. The heart of every militarist certainly warmed up the M2 heavy machine gun, mounted on a tripod.

We must recognize that the CZ 805 BREN gun is really nice - no debates. Actually, not only "osmsetpětka" but also a machine gun CZ Scorpion EVO 3 designer is really hilarious. "Scorpion" We also immediately popular, very comfortable to hold, light and sophisticated. Immediately we thought, why not stack sophisticated fuse used on the CZ 805 BREN (well actually not insurance).

From a military point of view was also interesting for us to stand Czech army. Exhibits dominant hospital was mentioned Pandur and Iveco LMV. Visitors can also try the rifle CZ 805 BREN (to be attached with a bayonet) in the configuration for the Czech Army and grenade GB 805G.

Other heavy machinery imported by Slovak and Czech Martin EVOLUTION EXCALIBUR ARMY. Slovaks showed only armored loader TATRAPAN 8x8 , but also modernized BMP-armed futuristic-looking 25 mm cannon TRT-25 mm from BAE Systems.

The great business opportunity in the field of modernization of the Russian BMP-1/2 Czech company also feels EXCALIBUR ARMY. In 2012 IDEB therefore issued his vision of the modernized BMP-1, called MGC-1.machine was equipped with a ceramic imitation of additional protection and security grilles SLAT.

Finally, remark that the size of the exhibition signed declining military budgets in the countries of Central Europe. In Central Europe will probably have the greatest chance of commercial success of manufacturers of small arms, surveillance equipment and a variety of military electronics and optics - that of the areas that were most visible IDEB 2012.
