Purchase of new domestic sniper rifle ORSIS T-5000 Interior Troops of the Russian Federation is only possible after the onset of the Russian Federation in the production of ammunition for these weapons, said on Thursday the head of state order artvooruzheniya and the high command of internal troops of the Interior Ministry General Major Valentin Sorokin.

"While there is no domestic ammunition for this rifle, buy no one will," - he said at the exhibition of small arms in the group of companies "Survey Systems."

General recalled that last year the army passed the tests of these weapons, which rated it positively. "The need for such weapons (in the internal troops) is there, but it depends on the manufacturers of ammunition "- said Sorokin.

Features rifles can hit a target at any time and under any weather conditions without first zeroing and technical training at a distance of 1.5 kilometers, the developer specifies.

Sniper rifle is available in two calibers: 308 Winchester and 338 Lapua Magnum. The rifle is designed for anti-terrorist and specialized sniper units.
